Much of my typographic work centres on music.
This is includes typesetting and typographic design of music, and the design of a wide range of music fonts covering the last 1000 years of music notation. This ranges from fonts emulating the styles of particular music publishers over the last 150 years, including one to emulate the work of the last of the British music engravers, George Hinder, to various forms of Mediæval music notation. One unusual project was to emulate the work of Handels copy J. C. Smith in order to create the orchestral parts for the BBC reconstruction of the first performance of Handels Water Music.
Other typographic projects include the design of books and book covers, including those for MA Books.
