Computing

I tend to think of computing as a means to an end, rather than the end in itself, but nevertheless there is a fair amount of computing under the belt. I am typing these words on a RiscOs machine, saving to a NetBSD laptop, and viewing the site on a Mac and a Windows machine as I go, which suggests a certain amount...

In techie terms, the first language I learned was PostScript (which does a lot more than control printers). That was followed by C and some Java, and then JavaScript, SQL and jQuery.
