Most of what I have written is either vocal music or chamber music, typically for historic instruments, and detailed on the worklist.
Three works have been on the shortlist of the Society for Promotion of New Music: Quintet, Angels Song, and the Five Mediaeval Lyrics. The SPNM connection led to the latter being sung by the BBC SIngers, and also the première of the movement for string quartet Fløyen in the rain.
The sketchpad is quite full at the moment, with things for solo harpsichord, solo clavichord and for cello, and vocal material, and theres an interesting interplay between composition and psychoanalysis. I also have something up my sleeve for recorder and harpsichord duet, conceived with half an ear on Balinese Rindik style of gamelan music.
